The Davey Crockett hat is a raccoon fur pillbox style hat complete with a tail! This iconic cap is lined with brown quilted poly/cotton blend fabric. There is some natural variation between raccoons and their tails, so not all caps will be exactly identical.

To order the correct size, measure (in inches) around the horizontal circumference of the largest part of your head which is usually just above the eyebrows. This measurement corresponds to the size you should order on our website. If you are in between sizes, we recommend rounding up or down to the nearest size. You can also send us a message if your head doesn't fit the sizes we have on our website.

We add some ease into all our hats so that they fit generously. This allows for minor shrinkage which is common for fur hats as they are worn. There is nothing worse than a tight hat! Completion time varies based on the time of year with the fall and winter being a busier time. The typical turnaround time is 3 to 4 weeks.
